Children's Sizing Advice
Here at Sandy Feet Australia we know better than anyone that kids come in all shapes and sizes. Whilst your 8 year old may be a size 10 chest measurement, they have a size 8 hip measurement. That is why we offer all our swimwear and rashies as separates to allow you to get the right fit for your child. Here are a couple of tips to help you get the right swimwear and rashie fit:

Our rashies are a relaxed fit more like a t-shirt.

Our swimshorts and bottoms are designed to be more fitted

Our swimshorts all come with a drawstring and therefore can be tightened around the waist, so if your child is at the top end of the measurement for their size you may be better to go up a size.
- Our Toddler Sunsuits and our Girls Sunsuits are a larger make than the rest of the Sandy Feet Range and we recommend going down a size compared to your usual Sandy Feet sizing.
All our swimwear and rashies have been designed based on The Australian Sizing Standards. Please refer to the table below for details on kids swimwear sizing, and if you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will help you work out the best fit for your child.
Adult Sizing Advice
Our adult rashies have been designed to be a relaxed fit - they are not a tight fit like traditional rashies.
Our Teen Tee Rashies have simple designs in a relaxed t-shirt style to entice your teen to stay protected this summer. This Sergeant Major design is part of our 'Sea Tales Collection', a series of limited edition designs from Indigenous Artist Francoise Lane. Our fit is designed for changing bodies who have outgrown children styles, but don't yet fit into mens sizing. Need a bigger size this same style is available in our Mens Range. Mix and match with our new teen boards for an effortlessly cool look this summer.

Sizing Advice: As mentioned these Rashies are a smaller fit mens style rashie, offering a better fit than children styles for teen boys. As a guide a Teen 3XS is roughly equivalent children's size 14, Teen 2XS to a 16, Teen XS an 18. Check our sizing chart here.
Story Behind The Design:
"At the end of 2016 my son took me on a mother and son date. Jordan had been wanting to take me out to his workplace on the Great Barrier Reef for some time. We both share a love of salt water and underwater life. Whilst out on the reef the schools of Sergeant Major would repeatedly swim through and around us. It was symbolic. Later, Jordan shared with me that he was going to be a Dad. It was a very special day. I dedicated the Fishy Tales artwork and print to Jordan inspired by our day on the reef and the Sergeant Major schools that swam with us." Francoise Lane
