Children's Sizing Advice
Here at Sandy Feet Australia we know better than anyone that kids come in all shapes and sizes. Whilst your 8 year old may be a size 10 chest measurement, they have a size 8 hip measurement. That is why we offer all our swimwear and rashies as separates to allow you to get the right fit for your child. Here are a couple of tips to help you get the right swimwear and rashie fit:

Our rashies are a relaxed fit more like a t-shirt.

Our swimshorts and bottoms are designed to be more fitted

Our swimshorts all come with a drawstring and therefore can be tightened around the waist, so if your child is at the top end of the measurement for their size you may be better to go up a size.
- Our Toddler Sunsuits and our Girls Sunsuits are a larger make than the rest of the Sandy Feet Range and we recommend going down a size compared to your usual Sandy Feet sizing.
All our swimwear and rashies have been designed based on The Australian Sizing Standards. Please refer to the table below for details on kids swimwear sizing, and if you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will help you work out the best fit for your child.
Adult Sizing Advice
Our adult rashies have been designed to be a relaxed fit - they are not a tight fit like traditional rashies.

Nice quality, nice design, nice fit and uv protection! I also bought the Sardines Under the Wharf short sleeve, both in size 10 but I could have bought 8 if I wanted a tighter fit (eg a swimsuit fit) and I'm very happy I did because I intend to wear them all summer long, regardless of being in or out of the sea!🥳 If you have any questions ask definitely Anita, she is so helpful!

Fits well colour is not as bright as I thought
This product was purchased to offer some protection from the cold while my wife is swimming all year. Sadly it does not perform for that purpose however I’m sure it’s a suitable garment for preventing sun exposure.
Love the design- fabric, fir & price
After another rashie got loose and saggy I thought I would invest in a better quality one. It has done a couple of weeks at the beach and is still looking brand new. So far so good
Love the colour. Zip up is so practical. Excellent fit. Would be improved with a slightly higher neck for better sun protection.
Both products I purchased are great all round. Material used high grade, finishing off perfect. Both are easy and comfortable to wear as sizing was true to measurements. Keeps me very cool and protected. No out of shape stretching as occurred at all. Easy care. Highly recommend
